Recently, the College celebrated 'Marymede Week' - an annual tradition in which we take time to reflect on what it means to be part of the Marymede Community, and celebrate the life of Mary our Virgin Mother.

This year, Marymede Week saw additional events scheduled in celebration of our 10th Year Anniversary and culminated in an amazing Marymede Day Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

The week commenced with our second ever Mission Action Day - an opportunity to gather and raise much needed funds for our House charities. Once again, this day proved popular with our students despite the colder weather conditions:

The middle of the week was used to celebrate and recognise our current Foundation students and Foundation families who have been with us for the past 10 years. In acknowledging these members of the Marymede Community's commitment to our College, students were presented with a certificate at our Founders Assembly and parents with a commerative candle at our Founders Evening. Additionally, we heard from Foundation students and parents about their memories of the foundation years at the College.

The week would conclude with Marymede Day Mass, which was this year held at St. Patrick's Cathedral. This event saw all 1,750 students, along with Staff and past Principals gather in celebration for what was a truly memorable event led by Archbishop Denis J Hart DD.
