What is your role at the College?

In 2019 I will be teaching Italian from Prep all the way to Year 6.

Tell us about an interesting project or topic that you are currently running with one of your classes?

During our Italian lessons, students will be involved in a variety of dynamic language learning experiences such as role plays, games, songs and stories within a stimulating learning environment.
Our lessons will focus on a range of themes and topics including greetings, family, markets, food, weather, transport, housing, school, emotions, hobbies and life in Italy.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Being a language teacher, the most rewarding aspect of teaching is hearing students communicate with each other in the language being taught and observing them applying their language skills and knowledge to other key learning areas such as Arts, Literacy, Numeracy and PE.
