On Friday 26 August, 82 students from Years 4-6 competed for Marymede Catholic College in the Bridge Inn Athletics Carnival held at Meadowglen Athletics Stadium.
Students competed against 8 local schools and were extremely successful on the day, being crowned champions in every age group whilst also claiming the overall honours on the day.
In addition to outstanding efforts by all athletes to participated on the day, the following students were successful in multiple 'A' division events:
Stephanie Camacho: 1st - 800m & 1500m
Louisa Folino: 1st - 800m & 1500m
Jack Miles: 1st - Long Jump & High Jump
Tobenna Obani: 1st - 100m & Triple Jump
Essa Al Noobi: 1st - Hurdles & 200m
Alicia Bokhaazi: 1st - Shotput and Discus
Marymede Catholic College also came 1st in all six 4x100m relays for the 2nd consecutive year!
