Michael has also spent time tutoring Economics students at the University of Adelaide.

Michael’s initial Principal appointment took place at McKillop College in Swan Hill, Victoria prior to moving across to the west to undertake the role of Principal at Servite College in Perth, Western Australia. During his time in the West, Michael also held positions as the President of the Catholic Secondary Prinicpal’s Association and a member of the Education Committee of Notre Dame in Fremantle.

In 2015 Michael comes the new Principal of Marymede Catholic College with a view to strengthening our position as a leader of education in the Northern suburbs.

Outside of the office, Michael enjoys plenty of quality family time with his wife Cathy and 2 daughters, and is an avid sports fan. Early sporting endeavours saw him play State Amateur League Football in Adelaide whilst also captaining the South Australian Football Association. After hanging up the boots Michael went on to coach the Glenelg under 19’s for two years before prior to leaving for Victoria. Michael is also a regular on the golf course, whilst also taking a keen interest in AFL football, cheering on his beloved mighty Adelaide Crows!
