SACCSS Athletics Carnival - Division 1

Team Marymede was in full force at the recent SACCSS Division 1 Athletics Carnival held on September 1 at Albert Park.

89 of our athletes competed at the event – contending against the other 6 Division 1 Schools in the SACCSS competition.

The first day of spring would produce great conditions for our athlete, whilst the athletes themselves would go on to produce even greater results! A successful day for Team Marymede saw two students crowned individual champion in their age group with several others finishing in the Top 10.

Marymede Catholic College would go on to place 4^th in the overall standings. Whilst the Marymede Spirit was in full show with a strong presence in every event. Our athletes will return to training, many of whom are currently in the High Performance Academy and aim to come back stronger than ever next year.
